The ESIM (Environment Stress Index Monitor) measures temperature, humidity and light as part of OHSC monitoring for the Department of Defence. A DSTO proprietary algorithm converts these readings into a useful “index” number displayed on the instrument LCD.
The ESIM is designed for arduous Defence training and other industry application such as mining, fire fighting. The instrument is designed to be IP 674 compliant with Polycarbonate plastic housings and overmoulded TPE sealed buttons.
